The Tooth Fairy Grins
By Caleb Helfrick
Paranoia and temptation,
Is making me coil as I wait
Calling out to whoever hears me,
Before the sun sets today
And his son was sweating today
Feet in the windshield,
Is her childhood peace
Raising a little kid,
Is her unwavering dream
When lying awake,
Late at night,
When everyone's sound asleep,
She feels well rested
While saying a prayer,
For everyone in her way
Hoping, wishing,
That God hears her whispers from her tear-filled lips,
For a different situation the next day
